He’s well on his way through the South Bay!
One of the BEST perks that comes with living in the South Bay is getting to enjoy all the community-driven holiday festivities. Because of our near-perfect SoCal weather, we get to experience one of the very best local traditions – Santa’s neighborhood sleigh ride!
Cities like Manhattan Beach and Redondo Beach have been annually sponsoring Santa’s sleigh throughout the month of December. The Kiwanis Club Manhattan Beach presents the Manhattan Beach Santa Sleigh. Santa’s “Head Elf” sponsors this year are Lido Di Manhattan and Shellback Tavern with other local business sponsors also contributing. Volunteers from the MB Fire Dept., MBPD, Leadership MB, and the MBUSD help make the magic happen.
The Redondo Beach Police Officer’s Association sponsors Santa’s float in Redondo Beach. Hermosa Beach even chimes in with a one-day only sleigh ride event throughout the city. Did you know that El Segundo has a community sleigh ride as well?
The sleigh is pulled through the neighborhoods and stops along the way so everyone can come out of their homes and enjoy a near door-to-door experience. (You never really outgrow this 😉)
